| Spanish abstract | Se presenta un estudio cuyos objetivos son: a) realizar un análisis a través del programa de software TextStat, de los datos textuales discursivos provenientes de diferentes grupos de discusión; b) explorar los significados acerca de la adolescencia y la psicoterapia, a través de grupos focales con adolescentes, padres, profesores y terapeutas; c) valorar la utilidad del programa TextStat como estrategia metodológica que posibilita el análisis de significados y datos textuales, en el ámbito de la investigación en Psicología. La metodología fue de carácter cualitativa, basándose en el uso del programa de software mencionado. La muestra fue intencional, no probabilística. Se discutieron los resultados en función de la temática planteada y se concluyó sobre ventajas y limitaciones del uso de TextStat en la investigación cualitativa |
| English abstract | The principal objectives of this study are: a) to make an analysis, trough the TextStat software program, of discursive textual data from different focal groups; b) to explore the meanings of the adolescence and psychotherapy for adolescents, trough focal groups with adolescents, parents, teachers, and psychologists; c) to value the utility of the TextStat program like methodological strategy for the analysis of textual data and meanings in the psychological research area. The methodology was of qualitative nature, based on the use of this program. The sample was deliberately no probabilistic. The discussion was considered in terms of adolescence and psychotherapy and the conclusions were based on advantages and limitations of the TextStat use in cualitative research |
