| English abstract | The crime with the highest criminal weight in Peru is the omission to provide child support. Therefore, the objective of the study was to determine the relationship between the process of the crime of omission of child support and the application of the principle of the best interest of the child in mothers in the department of Pasco. In a population of 90 women, the sample was non-probabilistic by convenience. The research method was quantitative with a correlational approach and a non-experimental transectional design. The technique used was the survey; the results showed a Spearman's Rho coefficient (Rho = 0.078), with a significance value of (P = 0.000). In conclusion, there is a positive and significant directly proportional relationship between the process of the crime of failure to provide child support and the application of the principle of the best interest of the child. |
| Spanish abstract | El delito con mayor ponderación penal en el Perú es la omisión de prestación de alimentos. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación entre el proceso del delito de omisión de prestación de alimentos y la aplicación del principio de interés superior del niño en madres de familia del departamento de Pasco, Perú. En una población de 90 mujeres, la muestra fue no probabilístico por conveniencia. El método de la investigación de enfoque cuantitativo de nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental de corte transeccional. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta; en los resultados se obtuvo, un coeficiente de Rho de Spearman: Rho = 0.078, con un valor de significancia de P = 0,000. En conclusión, existe relación positiva y significativa directamente proporcional entre el proceso del delito de omisión de prestación de alimentos y la aplicación del principio de interés superior del niño. |
