| Spanish abstract | En su afán por defender la superioridad de la raza aria, el genocidio perpetuado por el régimen nazi se apoyó sobre la idea de crear la figura de un sujeto de raza inferior, cuya extirpación de la sociedad resultaba indispensable para garantizar la supremacía germana. Este “otro” fue creado desde las esferas del poder, para poder ser cosificado, disciplinado y deshumanizado. En este artículo se analizará la influencia de las instituciones de la Modernidad en el proceso de destrucción de la subjetividad del pueblo judío y las consecuencias emocionales que han sufrido las víctimas durante el Holocausto y a la hora de tener que enfrentarse nuevamente al mundo libre |
| English abstract | In its quest to defend the superiority of the Aryan race, the genocide perpetuated by the Nazi regime was based on the idea of creating the figure of a “creature” of an inferior race, whose extirpation from society was essential to guarantee German supremacy. This “other” was created from the spheres of power, in order to be objectified, disciplined and dehumanized. This article analyzes the influence of the institutions of Modernity in the process of destruction of the subjectivity of the Jewish people and the emotional consequences suffered by the victims during the Holocaust and when facing the free world again |
