| Spanish abstract | En el presente trabajo se analizarán los murales que pintaron las hermanas Marion y Grace Greenwood en el Mercado Abelardo L. Rodríguez en la ciudad de México en el año de 1935, con la finalidad de advertir la visión que tenían sobre la clase trabajadora mexicana, evidenciar la desigualdad social así como las aportaciones que hicieron al muralismo mexicano, entre otros aspectos. Estas pinturas de las hermanas Greenwood fueron las últimas que realizaron en México y forman parte del patrimonio cultural de la capital de país |
| English abstract | In the present work, the murals painted by the sisters Marion and Grace Greenwood during 1935 at the Abelardo L. Rodríguez Market, located in Mexico City, were analyzed in order to illustrate their vision of the Mexican working class. Similarly, the social inequality as well as the contributions these works provided to Mexican muralism, among other aspects, are highlighted. These Greenwoods’ paintings were the last they created in Mexico and are part of the cultural heritage for the capital of this country |
