| Spanish abstract | El análisis de la información se realizó a través de la categorización de las respuestas proporcionadas por las participantes, considerando en todo momento las categorías obtenidas en el análisis teórico. Entre los resultados destaca la relación entre la estructura patriarcal y la construcción del amor romántico, por medio del ideal romántico que se instaura en las mujeres, y se desliza a través de los mitos románticos en la relación de pareja concluyendo que las instituciones y mecanismos patriarcales permiten y contribuyen al establecimiento y permanencia de las relaciones desiguales producto del amor romántico en la actualidad |
| English abstract | This article proceeds from a work that aims to identify the mechanisms that contribute to the construction of romantic love, to achieve this objective is taken as a starting point the theoretical approach of the notions of love to achieve situate the elements pertaining to the representation of romantic love, based mainly on the historical configuration of this phenomenon, as well as the myths that have served as elements of justification in the romantic model. It was used in accordance with the theoretical elements of phenomenon, the gender perspective as a tool of analysis, integrating the theoretical revision of the gender category, as well as the patriarchal institution, to obtain an intersection between the concepts of romantic love and patriarchy. The results of this analysis were delimited between the categories: the patriarchal family, motherhood, romantic myths and the romantic ideal considered as the mechanisms that allow the construction of love. As part of the method used qualitative techniques, the semi-structured interview the instrument that allowed the collection of information in the study, with a series of questions previously elaborated and obtained from the theoretical review, involving women in the present work. The analysis of the information was carried out through the categorization of the answers provided by the participants, considering always the categories obtained in the theoretical analysis. The results highlight the relationship between the patriarchal structure and the construction of romantic love, through the romantic ideal that is established in women, and slips through the romantic myths in the relationship, concluding that institutions and patriarchal mechanisms allow and contribute to the establishment and permanence of unequal relations product of romantic love today |
