| Spanish abstract | El uso de sistemas inteligentes en el registro de la propiedad industrial por parte de la OMPI y oficinas nacionales competentes de diferentes países viene contribuyendo a la sustanciación de solicitudes, procesos de búsqueda y clasificación. Igualmente, existen desarrollos de empresas privadas que facilitan la gestión del registro y seguimiento a través de diferentes aplicaciones. En particular, nos referimos a la experiencia de la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio de Colombia en el desarrollo de un sistema basado en IA, que permitirá a los usuarios tomar decisiones relacionadas con el registro, oposiciones, clasificación y sectorización de la solicitud basados en la Clasificación Internacional de Patentes (CIP) |
| English abstract | The use of intelligent systems in the registration of industrial property by WIPO and competent national offices from different countries, with a view to facilitate the conduct of applications and the search and classification proceedings. There are also interesting developments by private companies which facilitate the management of the registry and monitoring through different applications, created from artificial intelligence algorithms. In particular, we refer to the experience of the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce of Colombia (SIC), in the development of a system based on AI, which allows users to make decisions related to the registration and eventual opposition to the registration of a trademark |
