| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo intentará presentar puntos en común y confrontar algunos preceptos teológicos, éticos y políticos de autores como Slavoj Zizek, Enrique Dussel y Leonardo Boff en torno a la democracia, la ecología, los derechos humanos y la potencialidad de la liberación. Zizek sostiene que la religión fundamentalmente cumple dos funciones: de terapia o de crítica social. Para él, sólo una lectura ortodoxa del Evangelio y una posición “interesada e intolerante” por parte del cristianismo puede hacerle frente al pensamiento único. Dussel, desde las víctimas del sistema, propone un proyecto trans-moderno sustentado en una lectura análectica del Evangelio. Por su parte, Boff ofrece una visión que supere el antropocentrismo, teniendo como base una mística ecológica y como horizonte la liberación de los pobres y de la Tierra |
| English abstract | This work presents and confronts the theological, ethical, and political points of view from authors like Slavoj Zizek, Enrique Dussel and Leonardo Boff, with regard to democracy, ecology, human rights and liberation thought. Zizek argues that religion has two functions: therapy or social criticism. For him only an orthodox reading of the Gospel and an “interested and intolerant” position from Christianism cans oppose to the hegemony of “single thought”. Dussel, who argues from the point of view of the system’s disadvantaged, proposes a trans-modern project supported by an analetical reading of the Gospel. On the other hand Boff’s offers a vision that aims to overcome anthropocentrism 276 through mystical ecology and the liberation of the impoverished masses and the Earth |
