| English abstract | Descartes is recognized as the founder of the phil osophy of the subject and of the representations. It is through the cogito that the subject expresses the realization of his own existence and it is through the representa tions that the other things are thought by this subject. This article aims to develop an an alysis of the constitution of the cogito in order to reflect if the cogito can be thought as a representation. To reach this objective, we will discuss two interpretative lines : one having in Heidegger his exponent and the other in Ferdinand Alquié. Referen ces to the cogito as a representation can be found with certain naturalness in the critic al literature of Descartes. We intend to examine whether this “naturalness” consists on a pr oper interpretation of the Cartesian cogito |
| Portuguese abstract | Descartes é reconhecido como o fundador da filosof ia do sujeito e das representações. É através do cogito que o sujeito expressa a constatação de sua existência, e é através das representações que as o utras coisas são pensadas por este sujeito. Este artigo pretende desenvolver uma análise sobre a constituição do cogito , com a finalidade de refletir se o cogito pode ser pensado como representação. Para tanto, abordaremos duas linhas interpretativas: uma tendo em Heidegger seu expoente e a outra em Ferdinand Alquié. Referências ao cogito como representação podem ser encontradas com certa naturalidade na literatura crítica de Descartes. Pretendemos analisar se esta “naturalidade” consiste em uma interpretação adequada do cogito cartesiano |
