| English abstract | This article presents the notions of friendship present in the Nicomachean Ethics of Aristotle and unfolding of contrasts found in modern philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard, notably in The Works of Love. Despite the different times, both Aristotle and Kierkegaard asked questions aimed at understanding the relationship between men, that is, the perspective of both was to understand and justify the principles that g uide human actions. At first we could ask how the conceptions of Pagan may find echoes in the Christian philosophy of the Danish, but despite different cultural paradigms, we notice that ancient ethics are basic to the ethical-religious conception of Kierkegaard |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo visa apresentar as noções de amizade presentes na Ética Nicomaquéia de Aristóteles, e seus desdobramentos e contrastes encontrados na filosofia moderna de Søren Kierkegaard, notadamente em As Obras do Amor . Apesar das distintas épocas, tanto Aristóteles como Kierkegaard colocaram questões que visavam entender as relações entre os homens, ou seja, a perspectiva de ambos era entender e fundamentar os princípios que norteiam as ações humanas. De inicio poder-se-ia indagar como as concepções da era pagã podem encontrar ecos na filosofia cristã do dinamarquês, mas apesar dos distintos paradigmas culturais, notamos que as noções de ética antiga foram basilares para a concepção ético-religiosa de Kierkegaard |
