| English abstract | This article aims to show some structural affinities between Adorno’s philosophy and Schoenberg’s music. The most evident is the intentional difficulty to apprehend the works of both authors, which we demonstrate to have a social motivation and a technical motivation. We will find out also the similarity of some procedures adopted by the atonal music composers with procedures used by Adorno in his philosophic project, what gives the same status and importance to the tension that is present in the discourses. This study wants to discuss how and why the philosopher get closer to the language of art, of music and, more specifically, of the atonal music |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar algumas afinidades estruturais existentes entre a filosofia de Adorno e a música de Schoenberg. A mais evidente delas é a dificuldade intencional de apreensão das obras de ambos os autores, que se demonstra possuir um motivo social e um motivo técnico. Vemos também a semelhança de alguns procedimentos adotados pela música atonal com procedimentos utilizados por Adorno em seu projeto filosófico, o que confere o mesmo estatuto e importância à tensão presente nos discursos. O estudo procura, dessa forma, discutir como e porque o filósofo se aproxima da linguagem da arte, da música e, mais especificamente, da música atonal |
