| English abstract | Hölderlin and his incomplete drama The death of Empedocles are two essential pieces to think about the tragedy in our time. Born in the nostalgy of the Classical Antiquity, Hölderlin’s project reach at i ts end a entirely new conception of the relation between the men and the gods. This project can also be considered a very singular approach in the theme of tragedy, being of an extreme importance, not only to think about the relationship between art and philos ophy, but also to the discussion of the constitution of Modernity |
