Spanish abstract | El presente artículo pretende definir aportes para la difusión de un campo de estudio social particular, la Historia de las religiones, de la mano de uno de sus principales representantes y exponente intelectual del siglo XX: Mircea Eliade. Para ello, se estudian las características complejas del fenómeno religioso acorde a cuatro ideas del autor rumano: simbolismo, arquetipo, irreductibilidad y dialéctica de lo sagrado. Seguidamente, se configura una actualización metodológica para el estudio crítico de la religión en la sociedad actual y, de la mano de Eliade y otros autores contemporáneos, se presenta un método histórico crítico-religioso en base a dos pares de articulaciones: comparación-síntesis y actualidad-religiocentrismo |
English abstract | This work attempts to define contributions for the circulation of a particular field of study, the history of religions, through the work of one of its main representatives and leading intellectual exponent of the Twentieth Century: Mircea Eliade. For that purpose, the complex characteristics of the religious phenomenon are studied according to four ideas of the Romanian author: symbolism, archetype, irreducibility and the dialectic of the sacred. Afterwards, a methodological update for the critical study of religion in society nowadays is provided, and through Eliade and other contemporary authors, a historical critical-religious method, based on two pairs of articulations, comparisonsynthesis and actuality-religiocentrism, is presented |
