| Spanish abstract | En esta ponencia se realiza una lectura de Cocorí (1947), en la que se justifica por qué se considera el texto como literatura infantil y se valora su aporte a la misma. El análisis pretende develar como desde el comienzo del texto se muestra una retórica original y sugerente para caracterizar al protagonista. Además, el tipo de aventura que vive el personaje principal y los matices tanto semánticos como axiológicos que adquiere esta novela muestran la intencionalidad del autor de construir un personaje de raza negra capaz de vencer obstáculos, conseguir sus metas y encarnar la experiencia del conocimiento |
| English abstract | This presentation appoints a justification of the text Cocorí (1947) as a children literature, making the reading worth for it. This analysis tries to reveal the way the original and suggestive rhetoric is carried out to characterize the protagonist since the beginning of the text. Besides that, the kind of adventure the main character has, along with the semantic and axiological shades, indicate the author ’ s intention to build a black race character able to overcome obstacles, reach his goals and personify the experience of knowledge |
