| Spanish abstract | Se reflexiona sobre aspectos teóricos de la metáfora en tanto metonimia del lenguaje, su amplitud semántica y hermenéutica, su aceptación como tal por parte del lector, la superposición caleidoscópica de material lingüístico, la dialéctica filosófica que permite sobre la realidad y lo real, sus modelos elementales o liberados, su (im)posibilidad de (des)decir (des)diciendo, su carácter de trampa y trazo del lenguaje, de (re) ordenador del mundo, su capacidad de promover extrañamiento y asombro, su tiempo y su desbordamiento hacia la hipérbole; todas estas cualidades a partir de un cuento y dos ensayos de Jorge Luis Borges, dos poemas de Dulce María Loynaz y Cien años de soledad de Gabriel García Márquez |
| English abstract | This article reflects on theoretical aspect about the metaphor as the metonymy of language, as well as its semantics and hermeneutics breadth, its acceptance by the reader, its kaleidoscopic overlapping of linguistic material, its philosophical dialectics allowing reality and the real, its elementary or released models, the (im) possibility of (un)saying, its character as trap and trace in language, the (dis)arranging of the world, its ability to promote strangeness and wonder, its time and, finally, its hyperbole spillover. All these qualities are taken from a short story and two essays by Jorge Luis Borges, two poems by Dulce María Loynaz and the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez |
