| Spanish abstract | Desde el siglo XIX, los cambios filosóficos, políticos y tecnológicos han influido en el arte, encabezando una revolución estética e intelectual por parte de los artistas, provocando una percepción diferente por parte del consumidor, y exigiendo una manera diferente de intervenir por parte del restaurador. A diferencia de la restauración tradicional, en la de bienes modernos y contemporáneos el contacto con el artista es una herramienta única y fundamental, utilizada como metodología a escala internacional. El Seminario-Taller de Restauración de Obra Moderna y Contemporánea (STROMC) se imparte como taller optativo en el último semestre de la Licenciatura de la Escuela Nacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museografía (ENCRyM); entre sus labores más importantes está relacionar al alumno de manera directa con el ámbito artístico contemporáneo para apoyar la intervención, conocer tendencias y materiales, y generar un banco de entrevistas útil para el análisis y la conservación de arte contemporáneo a futuro |
| English abstract | Since the Nineteenth Century, philosophical, political and technological developments have influenced art, coming together in an aesthetic and intellectual revolution for the artists, resulting in a different perception by the public, and requiring a different approach to its conservation. Unlike traditional restoration, in the restoration of modern and contemporary art, contact with the living artists is a unique and fundamental tool used as an international methodology. The Restoration Workshop and Seminar of Modern and Contemporary Art is taught as an optional workshop in the last semester of the BA in Restoration at the National School of Conservation, Restoration and Museography, one of its most important tasks is to directly relate the student with the artistic contemporary field to support the operation, known trends, materials, and generate a databank of interviews useful for the analysis and preservation of contemporary art towards the future |
