English abstract | Throughout her work The Human Condition, Hannah Arendt approaches the concept of life from two different perspectives: life as a natural and unending cycle linked to labor, and life as human endeavor framed by the story of a singular who through collective action. Looking for a way to prevent the reduction of women and men into mere living beings or bare life, Arendt insists on the singular character of every human life and in the necessity of facing others by means of act and word |
