| Spanish abstract | A inicios del siglo XX se creó en la Sierra Norte de Puebla el complejo hidroeléctrico de Necaxa, transformando el paisaje natural y social. La creación de la empresa de energía eléctrica Mexican Light and Power (nacionalizada en 1960) se apoyó en un proceso de enajenación del territorio, bajo el ideal del progreso, con el cual se modificaron los vínculos de la población con los recursos naturales, pero también las relaciones sociales que se configuraban en el lugar. Ahora bien, la posición que ocupaba el electricista en el espacio social, entró en tensión con el cierre de la empresa Luz y Fuerza del Centro. En este contexto, el interés del artículo es ofrecer un panorama general sobre las repercusiones sociales que se crearon con el cierre de la empresa, tales como: la disputa por enmarcar el uso de los recursos hidrológicos del lugar, en tanto que ello puso en juego los horizontes de la comunidad electricista; y la ruptura que experimentaron los electricistas despedidos y sus familias en sus anclajes identitarios, hábitos y rutinas, por ejemplo, al transitar del ingreso salarial al de subsistencia. La presentación de estos avances de investigación permite visualizar los problemas sociales que emergen con la instalación del desempleo y con el dominio de la lógica económica en la orientación del Estado mexicano |
| English abstract | At the beginning of the 20th century it has been built in the Sierra Norte de Puebla the complex hydroelectric of Necaxa, transforming the natural landscape and social of the place. The creation of the company of electric energy Mexican Light and Power (nationalized in 1960) was based on a process of alienation of the territory, under the ideal of progress, which were modified links people with the natural resources, but also social relations shaping in the place. Nevertheless, the position occupied by the electrician in the social space, entered into tension with the closure of the company Luz y Fuerza del Centro. In this context, the interest of the article is to give an overview about the social effects that were created with the closure of the company, such as: dispute by framing the use of hydrological resources of the place, while this situation brings into play the horizons of the electrician community, and the rupture that experience laid off electricians and their families in their anchorages identity, habits and routines, for example, to travel to the subsistence wage income. The presentation of these advances in research allows visualizing the social problems that emerge with the installation of the unemployment and the domain of economic logic in the orientation of the Mexican State |
