| Spanish abstract | El presente estudio evalúa el efecto de algunas de las variables del proceso de inyección, sobre la contracción de engranes plásticos. De entre los objetivos del análisis, destacan el diseño y manufactura del molde utilizado para el desarrollo de este estudio, además de la metodología considerada basada tanto en datos obtenidos por mediciones realizadas en campo, como a través de la simulación del proceso mediante software. | English abstract | This project studies the effect of some of the implicit variables in the injection process, on the shrinkage of plastic gears. It starts with a detailed description of the elements and systems of the injection mold, as well as of the variables that take part in the injection process. Immediately after this, the methodology used for the analysis is presented, which considers the development of a design of experiments based on data obtained in fi eld and by software. The project concludes with the description of the effect of the injection variables on the manufacture of plastic gears |
