English abstract | This study aims at finding out the sstress distribution developed on a partial cemented stem type type Lazcano II, as a result of the application of loads during the normal gait cycle. Its of our insterest to verify whether the actual loading conditions imposed over the femoral head, produce the maximum equivalent stresses, or there is any other combined loading conditions inducing a higher stress value. The Finite Element Method is em´loyed to produce a 3-D model on the stem designed by dr. Marco A. Lazcano; to the prosthesis is analyzed. sy sdtimulating several loading conditions developed during a normal gait cycle |
