| Spanish abstract | Este artículo busca presentar parte del marco conceptual y teórico de la investigación que se está realizando como tesis del Doctorado Interinstitucional en Educación de las Universidades del Valle, Distrital y Pedagógica Nacional de Bogotá -Colombia. El objetivo general es construir el concepto de Pensamiento Tecnológico y sus características en términos de atributos. El concepto de Pensamiento Tecnológico se operacionaliza para diseñar un instrumento o encuesta para valorar en qué medida una comunidad académica de docentes, estudiantes e ingenieros lo tienen como representación mental, y en cierta forma aportará a las empresas a la selección de personal en proyectos tecnológicos. Con este objetivo se busca llenar el vacío conceptual que existe en el discurso del Ministerio de Educación Nacional referido a la educación en tecnología y al tratamiento teórico que se hace a nivel mundial, el cual logra algunas aproximaciones imprecisas sobre el concepto de pensamiento tecnológico. Por otra parte, habría que indicar que la amplitud del estudio será micro-sociológico. En cuanto a su carácter, la investigación se orientará desde un enfoque cualitativo hermenéutico |
| English abstract | This article seeks to present the conceptual and theoretical framework of research being done as a Inter institutional Ph.D. thesis in Education at the Universities of Valle, Distrital and National Pedagogical of Bogota - Colombia. The overall objective is to build the concept of technological thinking and its characteristics in terms of attributes. The concept of Technological Thought operationalizes to design a survey instrument to assess the extent to which an academic community of teachers, students and engineers have the mental representation, and in some way contribute to the recruitment companies in technology projects. With this objective, the aim is to bridge the conceptual gap that exists in the speech of the Ministry of Education refers to education in technology and the theoretical that is global, which brings about some vague concept approximations.
