| English abstract | This paper presents the most important results, though partial, of a wider research. This research is articulated around a central question: What is the status of subjectivity in Paul Ricoeur’s work? The notion of subjectivity is here confined to notions of selfhood and sameness and the problem is stated from an ambiguity marked in the distinction between the former and the latter. This status is then investigated from the contribution Ricoeur’s philosophy of will may offer to the problems generated by the distinction |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo apresenta os resultados mais importantes, embora parciais, de uma pesquisa mais vasta. Essa pesquisa articula-se em torno de uma questão central: qual é o estatuto da subjetividade na obra de Paul Ricoeur? Aqui a noção de subjetividade circunscreve-se às noções de ipseidade e mesmidade e o problema é posto a partir de uma ambiguidade assinalada na distinção entre esta e aquela. Esse estatuto é, então, investigado a partir do aporte que uma filosofia da vontade desenvolvida por Ricoeur pode oferecer à problemática gerada pela distinção |
