| English abstract | The aim of the article is to discuss the heuristic structure implicit in the demonstration of the immortality of the soul in the Phaedo . Plato, worried about inaccuracy of words and hatred of arg ument, presents his theory of Ideas as part of an itinerary for the inv estigation of causes. The deductive hypothetical method that this itinerary g rows into may be analyzed according to the stages of the heuristic architecture that Proclus assigns to Euclidean demonstrations |
