| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se proponen los cuatro pilares planteados por Delors (1986) como estrategias para la construcción de una educación más humanista, desde un enfoque teóricopropositivo, a partir del análisis crítico de los cuatro pilares. Se traza la necesidad de complementarlos con un quinto pilar para efectos de una educación humanista. Entre las conclusiones más importantes están: • hay esfuerzos para encontrar los grandes principios y lineamientos de la educación del siglo XXI. • Aún dentro de la educación globalizada es imprescindible asumir la diversidad y la multiculturalidad. • Los pilares planteados por Delors para ser estrategia en la construcción de una educación más humanista, tienen que ser enriquecidos desde planteamientos más integradores. • El quinto pilar, educar para la trascendencia, debe ser comprendido y asumido por los actores educativos y plasmado en el currículo educativo para que los cuatro pilares adquieran una dimensión más humanista y contribuyan realmente a la humanización |
| English abstract | In this article the four pillars set by Delors (1986) are proposed like strategies for the construction of a more humanist education, from a theoretical- propositive approach, from the critical analysis of the four pillars. The necessity draws up to complement them with a fifth pillar for effects of a humanist education. Some of the most important conclusions of the analysis are: • there are efforts to find the great principles and lineaments of the education of XXI century. • It doesn’t seem pertinent to pass over the diversity and the multiculturalism, in spite of having a globalize education. • The pillars raised by Delors to be strategy in the construction of a more humanist education, must be enriched from more integrated expositions. • The fifth pillar, to educate for the future, must be understood and be assumed by the educators and shaped in the educative curriculum so that the four pillars acquire a more humanist dimension and really contribute to the humanization |
