| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo pretende hacer una reflexión sobre cómo la historia ha sido un medio de afianzamiento de las élites en la sociedad colombiana; a pesar de los diversos procesos de desarrollo del conocimiento histórico, este escenario sigue latente. Pareciera que los historiadores no se han preocupado por la incidencia que tiene el conocimiento en la conformación de un ideario de nación. Así se han centrado las visiones sobre el bicentenario en que no se hace una reflexión profunda, sino se han intentado aportar elementos para disfrazar la realidad social.En esta visión es importante analizar de qué manera lo simbólico es utilizado para afianzar las relaciones de poder. Por ende, conceptos como el de soberanía que se vieron materializados en las constituciones iban orientados a un pequeño grupo que cumplía ciertos requisitos, lo que dejaba a gran número de población excluida, generando fuertes conflictos entre las élites regionales y locales. Las reflexiones planteadas en este artículo se centran en analizar cómo la población y particularmente los sectores populares participaron en los ejércitos y de esta forma se hicieron parte activa de proceso de construcción de nación |
| English abstract | The present article a reflection about how the history has been a improvement means of the elites in the Colombian society; in spite of the various processes of historic knowledge, this scenary is still alive. It seemed that the historians were not concerned for the incident that it has the knowledge in the conformation of an ideology of nation. This way they have centered the visions on the bicentenary that where there was not a deep reflection to itself, but elements have tried to be contributed to disguise the social reality. It this vision is very important to analyze how the symbolic is used to reinforce the relationships of power. Thus, concepts like that of sovereignty that met materialized in the constitutions were focused on a small group that was fulfilling certain requirements, which was stopping to a great number of excluded population, generating strong conflicts among the regional and local elites. The reflections raised in this article are focused on analyzing how the population and particularly the popular sectors took part in the armies and in this way they have become active part in the construction of nation processes |
