| English abstract | The objective of this article is to reflect on the senses and meanings of teacher training in History courses, to understand the characteristics of this training ethos and its relationship with the teaching of history. With the use of Oral History methodology, we realized that the actions of teachers, in the three History courses analyzed, are linked to the constitution of a training ethos based on the idea of inseparability between teaching and research, in the formation of a unique professional, capable of understand how knowledge is built in the area and also able to teach the content they have learned. Our analysis of the training ethos led us to think about the need to build new epistemological training paradigms, where there a more balanced relationship between the binomial teaching and research, where both sides of this same coin have a central role in this process |
| Portuguese abstract | O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre os sentidos e significados da formação de professores nos cursos de História, compreender as características deste ethos de formação e sua relação com o ensino de História. Com o uso da metodologia da História Oral, percebemos que as ações dos docentes, nos três cursos de História analisados, se vinculam à constituição de um ethos de formação calcado na ideia de indissociabilidade entre ensino e pesquisa, na formação de um profissional único, capaz de compreender como se constrói o conhecimento na área e também capaz de ensinar os conteúdos que aprendeu. Nossas analises a respeito do ethos formação nos levou ao pensar sobre da necessidade de construção de novos paradigmas epistemológicos de formação, onde exista uma relação mais equilibrada entre o binômio ensino e pesquisa, onde ambas as faces desta mesma moeda tenham centralidade no processo |
