| Spanish abstract | La eclosión juntera acaecida en los reinos patrimoniales de los Borbones españoles durante la crisis política que se inició en 1808 fue una ruptura legal de las instituciones vigentes. Las propias juntas de gobierno fueron una innovación sin antecedentes que obligó a los abogados indianos a emprender un proceso de restauración de la legitimidad para los nuevos gobiernos. Los colegios constitucionales fueron la solución viable en el nuevo espíritu liberal, y de ellos emanó la nueva agenda política para los gobernantes republicanos. | English abstract | The explosion occurred in the realms jointer heritage of the Spanish Bourbons during the political crisis that began in 1808 was a legal breach among the existing institutions. The governing boards themselves were an unprecedented innovation that forced the Indians lawyers to conduct a restoration of legitimacy for the new government. The schools were the constitutional viable solution in the new liberal spirit, and from them emanated the new policy agenda for Republican leaders.
