| Spanish abstract | Esta es una revisión de tema de la literatura sobre los conceptos de bienestar y satisfacción de una investi- gación sobre Retórica e ideales de salud mental familiar . Inicialmente se hace un breve recuento de la irrupción de los conceptos de salud y normalidad en la tradición clínica y la modernidad. Luego se muestran investigaciones actuales donde se reconoce la pluralidad de concepciones y medidas de bienestar . En ellas se cuestionan las certezas universalistas y estáticas que imponen definiciones únicas, tales como reducir el bienestar a indicadores económicos o materiales. P or último, se justifica la necesidad de realizar estudios culturales y retóricos que reconozcan el carácter complejo y plural del tema al situarlo en contextos sociales, locales y epocales |
| English abstract | This article presents a bibliographic review of research on the concepts of well-being and satisfaction for an investigation on Rethoric and family mental health . Initially , there is a short account of the advent of the concepts of health and normality in the clinic tradition and modernity . Then, the article shows current research in which the plurality of conceptions and present measures of well-being are recognized. In these research studies, the universal and fixed certainties that impose unique definitions, such as reducing the concept of well-being to economic or material indicators, are questioned. Finally , the need to do cultural and rhetoric studies that recognize the complex and plural character of the topic, when situating it in local and epochal social contexts, is justified |
