| English abstract | The following article try to investigate the resistence`s images of horror on the novel South of Nowhere, by the portuguese writer António Lobo Antunes, which narrate the traumatic experience of war in angola on the períod that Portugal was ending the colonial exploration on the region. Among the variety of themes proposed in this novel we having choose the problem of the sympton of hidding of the certain images that returns to the inominate narrator`s conscience after many years of inexplicable silence. We consider important to use the theorical contribution by the philosophers Giorgio Agamben and George Didi-Huberman and their studies about the ghostly aspects to the images of horror in war, in other words, the philosophers establish what is lost and irreparably in the figure of the imagetic ghost of the lost, the ghostly could be understand as a way of sublimation |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo procura investigar as imagens de resistência do horror no romance ‘Os Cus de Judas’, de Antonio Lobo Antunes, que narra a experiência traumática da guerra em Angola no período em que Portugal encerrava sua fase de exploração colonial. Dentre os vários temas propostos neste romance escolheu-se o problema do sintoma como ocultamento de certas imagens que retornam muito tempo depois na condição de fantasmas à consciência do narrador inominado, depois de muitos anos de inexplicável silêncio. Utilizaremos o aporte teórico de Giorgio Agamben e Georges Didi-Huberman sobre o caráter fantasmático das imagens do horror da guerra, ou seja, tentar alcançar o objeto perdido, mesmo sabendo, de antemão, que se trata de uma tarefa impossível, eis a relação que os dois filósofos estabelecem entre o que está perdido de maneira irremediável e o fantasma imagético da perda, o fantasmático pode ser percebido como um modo de sublimação |
