| English abstract | Generally speaking, the annal has been bitterly criticized by historiography due to its lack of embellishment and interpretative function beyond the mere recording of events. This essay seeks to question the use of annals as well as the critiques against them. At the same time, it offers a view point from which to interpret these texts as a way to counter the existing prejudice against them |
