| English abstract | This article has the purpose of discussing the status of naturalismin Nietzsche’s work. We wonder by the weights and measures thatnaturalism and the new nineteenth century sciences assume withNietzsche’s investigative procedure, particularly, in his genealogy. We seekto understand the extent to which Nietzsche recognized contact withthe natural and medical sciences of his time influenced and shaped hisway of research, and, if this contact had produced something capable ofreplication, as a Nietzschean research methodology. Ultimately, interestto this reaserch the uses to which Nietzsche gives in his genealogicalinvestigations to scientific and philosophical debates of his time, inparticular, the ownership of ideas and practices that will mold his wayto investigate |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo tem o de objetivo discutir o estatuto do naturalismo na obrade Nietzsche. Nos perguntamos pelos pesos e medidas que o naturalismoe as nascentes ciências do século XIX assumem junto do procedimentoinvestigativo de Nietzsche, particularmente, em sua genealogia. Buscamoscompreender até que ponto o reconhecido contato de Nietzsche comas ciências naturais e médicas de seu tempo influenciou e modelou suaforma de investigação, e, se deste contato, produziu-se algo passívelde replicação, como uma metodologia nietzchiana de investigação.No limite, interessa a esta pesquisa os usos que Nietzsche dá em suas investigações genealógicas aos debates científicos e filosóficos de seutempo, em especial, a apropriação de ideias e práticas que irão moldarsua forma de investigar |
