| English abstract | The present work had as its motivation and challenge, the introduction to the different topics and debates that the XXII Congress of the Brazilian Circle of Psychoanalysis (CBP) - “This is how Psychoanalysis walks: Inquiries of the 21st Century” - (November 2017, Salvador-BA) intends to contemplate and promote. There is the possible and incomplete path of the Freudian discovery, which aims to emphasize its immixtion of Otredade with the thoughts and knowledge that marked the twentieth century. As well as to raise the tension in which expresses our object’s originality, social practice or scientific reason? Thinking about the century is a methodological bet. To consider its subjectivity – his hegemonic and unthinkable thoughts – allows us to reflect on the novelty of the psychoanalytic movement, on the quotation we have with our task as a psychoanalyst, and on the meaning and function of psychoanalysis in the twenty-first century |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente trabalho teve como motivação e desafio introduzir as diversas temáticas e debates que o congresso Assim caminha a psicanálise. Indagações do século XXI, do CBP (nov. 2017, Salvador-BA), pretende contemplar e promover. Apresenta-se um percurso – possível e incompleto – do descobrimento freudiano, que visa salientar a sua immixtion de Otredade com os pensamentos e saberes que marcaram o século XX, assim como levantar a tensão em que se exprime a originalidade de nosso objeto: de prática social ou razão científica? Pensar o século é uma aposta metodológica. Considerar a sua subjetividade – seus pensamentos hegemônicos e seus impensáveis – nos permite refletir sobre a novidade do movimento psicanalítico, sobre a cita que temos com nossa função de analistas e com o sentido e a função da psicanálise no século XXI |
