| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo explora de qué manera la crítica literaria de las décadas recientes, en México y desde un enfoque de género, establece un diálogo con fenómenos sociales más amplios. Se detecta un marcado interés por generar textos que abordan los productos literarios escritos por mujeres o bien, la identificación de marcas de género en la configuración de personajes masculinos o femeninos; comienza a manifestarse una mirada más amplia y general en torno del concepto “género”, pero aún no se transparentan las consecuencias del trabajo interdisciplinario ni los cruces metodológicos, propios de los estudios culturales |
| English abstract | Gender, Literature and Cultural Studies in Mexico This work critically explores how a focus on gender in literary criticism in Mexico in recent decades has established a dialogue with a broader range of social phenomena. A strong interest is found in producing texts that discuss literary works written by women, as well as the identification of the gender aspects of the configuration of male and female characters. However, a wider and more general perspective has begun to emerge around the concept of “gender”, but neither the consequences of interdisciplinary work nor the methodological implications – both important features of cultural studies – are not yet clear |
