| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se argumenta que el fundamento de la ética (como saber teórico) es la experiencia moral. Esta experiencia es sui generis, por cuanto implica la relación con otro ser humano. La relación ‘propiamente humana’ con otro ser humano es la comunicación (verbal, gestual, mímica…). La experiencia moral es, las más de las veces, experiencia del quiebre, del conflicto. El núcleo subjetivo de la experiencia moral en cuanto quiebre es la ofensa. A propósito de este sentimiento básico (ofensa), se examina aquí el significado de perdonar, es decir, de superar la pasión, el padecer de la ofensa. Se examina la acción de pedir perdón —que es lo primero en el orden del significado— y ‘el evento’ de otorgarlo |
| English abstract | This article argues that the foundation of ethics (as theoretical knowledge) is moral experience. This experience is sui generis because it implies a relationship with another human being. The "properly human" relationship with another human being is communication (verbal, gestual, mimical ...). A moral experience is, largely, an experience of rupture, of conflict, whose is the offense. Apropos of this basic sentiment (offense), the meaning of forgiveness is examined, that is, of overcoming passion, of suffering of the offense. The action of asking for forgiveness is analyzed —which is first in the order of the meaning— as well as the "event" of granting that forgiveness |
