| Spanish abstract | La condición jurídica de los icebergs en el derecho internacional debe ser estudiada teniendo en consideración tanto su naturaleza jurídica como el lugar en que este recurso se encuentra presente. Siendo los icebergs una formación de hielo compuesta de agua dulce que puede flotar a la deriva por el mar, es menester saber si aplicar, para efectos de su apropiación y explotación, las normas generales del derecho del mar que rigen en los diferentes espacios marítimos; o bien, entender a los icebergs como un recurso especial querequierede una normativa particular, distintade la que existe hoy en día en el derecho internacional |
| English abstract | The legal status of the icebergs in the international law should be studied taking into account both its legal status as the place where this resource is present. The icebergs are an ice formation composed of fresh water that can float adrift in the sea, so it is necessary to know whether to apply, for purposes of appropriation and exploitation, the general rules of the law of the sea that governing the different maritime spaces; or well, understand the icebergs as a special resource that requires a particular normative, different from that which exists today in international law |
