| Spanish abstract | A diferencia de la manifestación tradicional del mito apocalíptico, las ficciones posapocalípticas se dedican a narrar lo que sucede después de un evento concebido como final y, por ende, no se interesan en las causas que llevaron al colapso de la civilización, sino en los restos de la catástrofe. De esta manera, podría decirse que si hay un elemento que caracteriza a este tipo de literatura es el cronotopo que construye y el personaje paradigmático que de él se desprende: el superviviente, es decir, aquella vida que resiste en medio de la precariedad más absoluta. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo ahondar en la manera en la que Frío (2013), una de las novelas que conforman la trilogía del escritor argentino Rafael Pinedo (1954-2006), construye un cronotopo posapocalíptico particular que invita a imaginar nuevos modos de subjetivación y de comunidad imposibles de ser pensados en un mundo previo al apocalipsis. |
| English abstract | Unlike traditional approaches to apocalyptic myth, post-apocalyptic fictions focus on narrating what happens after an event conceived as final and, therefore, they are not interested in the causes leading to the collapse of civilization, but what remains after the catastrophe. In this way, it could be said that the elements that characterize this type of literature, are the chronotope, its construct, and the paradigmatic character that emerges from it: the survivor, on other words, the life that resists in the midst of the most absolute precariousness. The objective of this article is to explore the way in which Frío (2013), one of the novels that integrates the trilogy of the Argentinian writer Rafael Pinedo (1954-2006), builds a particular post-apocalyptic chronotope that invites us to imagine new modes of subjectivation and community impossible to be thought of in a world before the apocalypse |
