| Spanish abstract | En el presente ensayo se discute el concepto del habitar en su relación con un pensamiento del espacio. Preguntarse por el habitar significa considerar el modo en que lo mismo se relaciona con su otro por medio de un límite. Esta relación constituye un espacio. En el pensamiento ecológico, se trata de la relación entre hombre y naturaleza (dónde los términos de la relación se oponen, dónde son indiferentes, dónde se intersectan localmente), en el pensamiento político, de la relación entre lo propio y lo extranjero (qué es una comunidad, quién y qué cuenta como lo propio y como lo ajeno), en el pensamiento social y económico, cómo se construyen las fronteras sociales (sean entre países, sean dentro de la ciudades, sea en un espacio arquitectónico) |
| English abstract | The present article presents a discussion on the concept of dwelling and its relationship to that of space. To pose the question about dwelling implies to address the link between the same and the other through the concept of limit. This relationship constitutes a space. In ecological thinking this questions involves the relationship between man and nature (where they are opposed, where they are different, where they exhibit a local intersection). In political thinking, the issue at stake involves the relationship between the same and the foreign, (what is a community, who and what counts as such): In social and economic thought, we deal with the ways in which social frontiers are constructed (be it between countries, inside cities or in an architectonic space) |
