| English abstract | This article presents reflections focused on the graphical configuration of Portuguese textbooks from the 1960s, once, from that time, it is possible to verify different changes in their characteristics, such as the usage of larger formats, generalization of color printing from the renewal of graphic machinery, employment of new typographical forms with the introduction of phototypesetting, replacement of the hardcover booklet, according to Moraes (2008). Suported by Bakhtin, in his text Remarks on the epistemology of human sciences (1974/2000, p. 402), I understand that the humanities work with understanding, pointing to the possible, because "understanding is to collate with other texts and think of a new context (in my context, in the contemporary context, in the future context)".The study arises as a possibility to meet and expand investigations focused on the mother tongue teaching and the constitution of the Portuguese language subject |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo apresenta reflexões voltados à configuração gráfica dos livros didáticos de Português a partir da década de 1960, pois a partir desse período é possível verificar diferentes mudanças em suas características, como o uso de formatos maiores, generalização da impressão em cores a partir da renovação do maquinário gráfico, emprego de novas formas tipográficas com a introdução da fotocomposição, substituição da capa dura pelo acabamento brochura, conforme Moraes (2008). Apoiada em Bakhtin, em seu texto Observações sobre a epistemologia das ciências humanas (1974/2000, p. 402), entendo que as ciências humanas trabalham com a compreensão, apontando para o possível, porque “compreender é cotejar com outros textos e pensar num contexto novo (no meu contexto, no contexto contemporâneo, no contexto futuro)”. O estudo se coloca como possibilidade de conhecer e ampliar as investigações voltadas ao ensino de língua materna e a constituição da disciplina curricular Língua Portuguesa |
