| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se expone una noción del timbre construida a partir de la experiencia personal en composicion además de los aportes de investigadores en el campo de la acústica, la psicoacústica y la música. La investigación se centra en la reflexión sobre el proceso creativo de un ciclo de piezas en colaboración con bailarinas y coreógrafas, en las que el timbre se presenta en si mismo como objetivo de la creación y como eje articulador de la interacción entre sonido y movimiento a través de la experiencia perceptual en sus dimensiones acústicas y semánticas |
| English abstract | This article presents a notion of timbre conceived from personal experience as a composer along with the contributions of other scholars in the fields of music, acoustics, and psychoacoustics. This research projects centers on reflecting about the creative process of a cycle of pieces in collaboration with dancers and choreographers, where timbre, itself, is the object of creation as well as the axis of the interaction of sound and movement through the perceptual experience of its acoustic and semantic dimensions |
