| Spanish abstract | Se abordan en este ensayo la variedad de mitos y desconocimientos en torno al sistema de enseñanza-aprendizaje denominado e-learning, contrastando cada uno con la realidad teórica y práctica del sistema. Ello, a partir de las distintas conceptualizaciones que se han ido forjando sobre el tópico, así como en torno a los enfoques cognitivos que esta modalidad de enseñanza integra. De igual modo, son abordados los principios que supone el diseño instruccional del referido sistema, y los desafíos, responsabilidades y ventajas que presenta para diseñadores, estudiantes y profesores que acceden a él, sin obliterar las tareas pendientes del Estado de Chile en esta materia |
| English abstract | Are addressed in this essay the variety of myths and ignorance around the system of teaching-learning called e-learning, contrasting each one with the theoretical and practical reality of the system. This, on the basis of the different conceptualizations that have been forged on the topic, as well as on cognitive approaches that this modality of teaching integrates. Similarly, are dealt with the principles of instructional design of the system, and the challenges, responsibilities and advantages for designers, students and teachers to access it, without blurring the remaining tasks of the State of Chile in this area |
