| English abstract | This paper aim is to sketch some levels of Benjamin’s translation theory in order to set, translate some of his concepts of the theory of language and translation into the epistemological reflections of the humanities. Based on his famous essay on the Task of the Translator, the content will extend to his theory of language in order to consider the challenges and perspectives of the humanities epistemologies electing the theory of historical knowledge as a paradigm. The aim is not limit the variety of theoretical perspectives of the humanities only to the contemporary theory of history, on the contrary, the theme of the theory of historical knowledge should be included as a possibility to open perspectives in other disciplines, on the assumption that the human sciences deal with the from different discourses on the same problems – interference, transpositions to openings, are the very theme of Benjamin’s theory of translation, as we shall see |
| Portuguese abstract | Neste artigo discutirei alguns elementos da teoria da tradução de Walter Benjamin com objetivo de atualizar, traduzir alguns de seus conceitos de teoria da linguagem e da tradução para as reflexões epistemológicas das ciências humanas. Tendo por base seu célebre ensaio sobre a Tarefa do Tradutor, ampliaremos seu tema à sua teoria da linguagem visando considerar desafios e perspectivas às epistemologias das ciências humanas elegendo a teoria do conhecimento histórico como paradigma. Naturalmente não limitaremos a pluralidade de perspectivas teóricas das ciências humanas contemporâneas apenas à teoria da história, ao contrário, a temática da teoria conhecimento histórico deve figurar como possibilidade de abrir perspectivas em outras áreas do saber, partindo do pressuposto de que as ciências humanas versam a partir de discursos diferenciados sobre as mesmas problemáticas – as interferências, aberturas transdisciplinares são o próprio tema da teoria benjaminiana da tradução, como veremos |
