| English abstract | Elisée Reclus, a french anarchist and geographer, was an active militant in the main conflicts of the XIX century, such as the Commune of Paris of 1871 and the Jurassian Republic, and currently is one of the most important writers of anarchism. Reclus’ writings were b adly read by many of his “followers”, understanding his thinking as merely evolutionist. The compiled texts, later called Evolution, Revolution and the Anarchist Ideal are one of these writings. But a deeper reading of what he called “evolution” can bring us to extremely important facts of revolutionary practice. This communication intends to bring a re - interpretation in the concept of “evolution” that is intrinsically tied to the concepts of “Revolution” and “Anarchist Ideal”. That way, we propose the unde rstanding of “human evolution”, for Reclus, fundamentally means great ruptures, not allowing confusion whit the views of the Hegelian contemporaries of the geographe |
| Portuguese abstract | Élisée Reclus, geógrafo e anarquista francês, foi militante nos principais conflitos do século XIX (entre eles, a Comuna de Paris de 1871 e a Federação Jurassiana) e atualmente, é um dos mais importantes escritores do anarquismo. Os escritos de Reclus f oram mal interpretados por diversos de seus “seguidores” em que atribuíram seu pensamento apenas como evolucionista . Os textos compilados e posteriormente chamados de Evolução, Revolução e o Ideal Anarquista é um destes escritos mal interpretados. Porém, u ma leitura atenta do que ele chamou de “evolução” pode nos atentar para fatos de extrema importância à prática revolucionária. Esta comunicação visa apresentar uma (re) interpretação no conceito de “evolução” que está intrinsecamente ligado aos conceitos d e “Revolução” e “Ideal Anarquista”. Assim, proporemos a leitura de que onde a “evolução humana”, para Reclus, passa fundamentalmente por grandes momentos de rupturas, não podendo ser confundido com o mesmo sentido dos hegelianos e positivista s contemporâne os ao geógrafo |
