| Spanish abstract | El presente estudio analiza la transformación del paisaje en destinos de cruceros, específicamente el caso de Majahual en Quintana Roo, Mexico, como un destino planificado y desarrollado en torno a la actividad de cruceros. El estudio se realizó a través del análisis deductivo y transversal, donde se revisa el contexto de la expansión de la actividad de cruceros y algunas de sus implicaciones; también se aborda el concepto de paisaje y su relación con la construcción social del espacio y se discute éstos para el caso de Mahahual, algunas de sus características y su naturaleza con respecto a espacio turístico y paisajístico, y finalmente se concluye sobre la construcción social no de uno, sino de varios paisajes |
| English abstract | The present work analyzes the transformation of the landscape in cruising destinations, specifically referring to the case of Majahual, Quintana Roo, as a planned and developed destination around the cruise liner activity. In order to do this, through the deductive and transversal analysis we review the context of the ongoing expansion of the cruising activities and some of its implications; we also address the concept of landscape and its relationship with the social construction of space and discuss the case of Mahahual, some of its characteristics and its nature regarding tourist space and landscape, and finally concluding about the social construction of not one, but several landscapes |
