| Spanish abstract | La presente revisión bibliográfica tiene por objetivo conocer la situación y respuesta del personal docente frente a escenarios de crisis y cuál es el rol que debe asumir respecto al uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) durante la actual pandemia ocasionada por el COVID-19. Para ello se consideraron los contextos de Chile, Perú, Argentina, China y Croacia, en función de las experiencias que dichos países han tenido durante tiempos de crisis y que han puesto en jaque el rol docente, así como las respuestas iniciales a la actual emergencia sanitaria. La metodología utilizada plantea la revisión de una selección de artículos científicos a partir de los siguientes criterios de análisis: educación en crisis, rol docente en virtualidad y uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (tic). Se conformó un corpus de 26 artículos revisados. Por último, este análisis conduce a concluir que el personal docente debe asumir la responsabilidad de crear los espacios de aprendizaje virtual que permitan al estudiantado continuar con el proceso educativo. En cuanto a las recomendaciones, es necesario que exista una mayor capacitación en el uso de las TIC y su aplicación acorde a cada contexto. |
| English abstract | This literature review aims at learning about teacher response to crisis scenarios at school and the role they should assume regarding the use of the information and communication technology (ICT) during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The experience of Chile, Peru, Argentina, China and Croatia were considered- specifically how the pandemic challenged the roles of teachers based on the initial response of the aforementioned countries to the current health emergency. The methodology involved selecting articles that were required to meet the following analysis criteria: Education in Crisis, Online Teaching Roles and Use of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). A group fo 26 articles were ultimately chosen for purposes of this literature review which concludes that teaching faculty must assume responsibility for creating virtual learning spaces to provide students with educational continuity. It is recommended that teachers receive further training in the use of ICTs and how they can be leveraged in different contexts. |
