| Spanish abstract | No existe la arquitectura pop, tampoco un pop mexicano, al menos como categorías histórico- académicas. Sin embargo, en la Ciudad de México existe un Pop Life Hotel basado en el popular estilo, que puede ser analizado bajo la mirada del post estructuralismo, con puntos de cruce entre textos clásicos de la estética del arte pop y la revisión de análisis, manifiestos y muestras arquitectónicas contemporáneas al movimiento. La convergencia de ambos frentes para establecer un interiorismo pop es uno de los resultados, otro es el propio análisis del objeto empírico, llegando a las relaciones del usuario con el espacio al que aspira como dispositivo pop |
| English abstract | There is no pop Architecture, niether a mexican pop, at least as historic-academic categories. However, there is a Pop Life Hotel in Mexico City, based in the popular style, that may be analized under the postestructuralism, by crossing points between classic texts of pop art aesthetics and reviewing some analisis, manifests and architectonic displays contemporaries with the movement. Both sides convergencies for the Pop Interiorism stablishment is one of the results, the analisis of the empiric object itself is another, reaching user’s relations with space that wants to reach as Pop dispositive |
