| English abstract | In this work, we intend to contextualize the genre talk-show in a typology of televisive genres. We will try to demonstrate the relation between the genre studied here and a social relation of its recognition. In order to do this, we will analyze the talkshow’s general devices of discursive staging(mise en scène), analyzing more specifically the mediatic communicational contract operation in the referred genre how the tension between credibility and audience capture, inherent to the communicational contract, unfolds, as well as the tension between reality and fiction, characteristic of the genre talk-show. Finally, we will analyze the operation of the proposed theoretical categories in the Brazilian talk-show “Casos de Família (Family Stories), trying to demonstrate how the tensions pointed here create a legend of the modern democracy around the talk-show |
| Portuguese abstract | Nesse trabalho, pretendemos contextualizar o gênero talk-show numa tipologia de gêneros televisivos, tentando demonstrar a relação entre o gênero estudado e uma relação social de reconhecimento dele. Para tanto, analisaremos os dispositivos gerais de encenação (mise en scène) discursiva dos talk-shows, analisando especificamente o funcionamento do contrato de comunicação midiático no gênero em questão e os desdobramentos gerados pela tensão entre credibilidade e captação inerente a tal contrato, bem como a tensão entre realidade e ficção, própria do gênero talk-show. Por fim, analisaremos o funcionamento das categorias teóricas propostas no talk-show “Casos de família”, procurando demonstrar como as tensões aqui apontadas acabam por criar um mito de democracia moderna em torno do talk-show |
