| English abstract | In this study, following the text-interactive perspective, I intend to show that in situ constructions on the function of semi-rhetorical play a role interactive and topic activities in the discourse of the classroom. The questions regarding the discursive functioning, following a path of grammaticalization: complete, F1 asks and F2 responds; semi-rhetorical, F1 asks and F1 responds, and rhetorical, F1 asks. For its multiple functionality, the questions have great importance in the organization of discourse, since they serve to introduce, change, resume and develop the topic of discourse. Semirhetorical and rhetorical questions exercise primarily functions of topic development, because the speaker does not wait the response of the listener. It was found in the classroom data, analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods, which are taken in this research as complementary, that semi-rhetorical questions, as for discursive functioning in the in situ constructions, function as interactive strategies and topic sequencing of the teacher in relation to the student |
| Portuguese abstract | Neste estudo, seguindo a perspectiva textual-interativa, pretendo mostrar que as construções in situ na função de semirretóricas exercem atividades tópicas e interativas no discurso de sala de aula. As perguntas, quanto ao funcionamento discursivo, seguem uma trajetória de gramaticalização: plena, F1 pergunta e F2 responde; semirretórica, F1 pergunta e F1 responde, e retórica F1 pergunta. Por sua multifuncionalidade, as perguntas exercem grande importância na estruturação do discurso, uma vez que servem para introduzir, mudar, retomar e desenvolver o tópico discursivo. Perguntas semirretóricas e retóricas exercem, primordialmente, funções de desenvolvimento tópico pelo fato de o locutor não esperar a resposta do ouvinte. Foi verificado, em dados de sala de aula, analisados por métodos qualitativo e quantitativo, os quais são tomados, nesta pesquisa, como complementares, que as perguntas semirretóricas, quanto ao funcionamento discursivo nas construções in situ, funcionam como estratégias interativas e de sequenciamento tópico do professor em relação ao aluno |
