| English abstract | The poetry of Manoel de Barros is an affirmation of becoming. The notion of becoming appears among the Greeks with the intention to explain the movement, the transformation of things and the creation of the new. It is argued, for example, by Heraclitus who recognized the permanent change of everything that exists. In the present time, the philosopher Gilles Deleuze leans on the concept of becoming and tries it through the encounters. Things in movement encounter one another so that a mutual affectation happens that makes them change all the time. And those encounters are multiple; as well as the possibility of invention of new relations and new compositions. It is that way Manoel de Barros can be seen as the poet of becoming. In his poetry invention is the main mark; and it is made by means of the mixture of bodies and words |
| Portuguese abstract | A poesia de Manoel de Barros é uma afirmação do devir. A noção de devir surge entre os gregos com a intenção de explicar o movimento, a transformação das coisas e a criação do novo. Ela é discutida, por exemplo, por Heráclito que reconhecia a mudança permanente de tudo o que existe. Na atualidade, o filósofo Gilles Deleuze debruça-se sobre o conceito de devir e o experimenta a partir dos encontros. As coisas em movimento se esbarram umas com as outras, de maneira que acontece uma mútua afetação que faz com elas estejam o tempo inteiro se modificando. E os encontros são múltiplos; bem como a possibilidade de invenção de novas relações e novas composições. É assim que Manoel de Barros pode ser visto como o poeta do devir. Em sua poesia a invenção é a marca principal; e ela é feita através da mistura dos corpos e das palavras |
