| English abstract | This paper aims at analyzing the techniques used by the author to deconstruct the old and terrifying myth of the witch in her children’s books: Histórias da Bruxa Boa and A Volta da Bruxa Boa. Observing the fact that the witch is a character that goes around children’s imaginary in a scary way and helps to bring fear to young minds since very early, Luft shows another vision around this character, considering the intention of showing the witch who is inside her and all the witches who are inside every women in this contemporary society |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente trabalho tem como proposta analisar os artifícios usados pela autora para desconstruir o velho e aterrorizante mito da bruxa em seus dois livros infantis: Histórias da Bruxa Boa e A volta da Bruxa Boa. Alertando para o fato que a bruxa é uma personagem que circunda o imaginário infantil de forma assustadora e corrobora para desde cedo inculcar o medo nas mentes pueris, Luft desmistifica essa visão em torno dessa personagem, partindo do propósito de externar a bruxa que há dentro da autora e que existe também dentro de cada uma das mulheres dessa sociedade contemporânea |
