| English abstract | Despite the importance of Paul Valéry as one of the fundamental authors of the twentieth century, his poetic work still circulates little in Brazil, and there is no complete translation of his most important book of poems – Charmes. Our intention in this article is to reflect on the possibilities of translating this title and what it implies in the conception of this set of poems. In our study, we will consider both the title and the use of that word throughout the book |
