| English abstract | The aim of this paper is to analyze the memory’s discursive functioning in the memorialistic novel genre, Leite Derramado by Chico Buarque, as well as the interrelation between memory-dream and memory-work in the constitution of the memorialistic game. In order to reach the proposed aim, we bring the theory of allusion (TORGA, 2001, 2006, 2007) as a methodological orientation, which legitimize and allow the corpus analysis. Our work is based on the ideas from theorists such as Bakhtin (1999, 2010), Bosi (1994), Halbwachs (2006), Rossi (2010), among others. It is important to highlight that we place memory within the interactional process, assuming it as a part of a memorialistic game of a discourse genre, considering that the subject assumes an enunciative position in order to report his memories, his interpretations of the past. We believe that memory is the work’s greatest strategy. It imposes the narrator-character the illusion of an autonomy on the act of reminding, since the old narrator, instead of writing his memories, ends up by being written by them |
| Portuguese abstract | O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o funcionamento discursivo da memória no romance memorialístico Leite Derramado, de Chico Buarque, bem como o imbricamento entre memória-sonho e memória-trabalho na constituição do jogo memorialístico. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto, trazemos como orientação metodológica a teoria da alusão (TORGA, 2001, 2006, 2007), a qual legitima e licencia a análise do corpus. Nosso empreendimento pauta-se nas ideias de teóricos como Bakhtin (1999, 2010), Bosi (1994), Halbwachs (2006), Rossi (2010), entre outros. É importante dizer que situamos a memória dentro do processo interacional, entendendo-a como constituidora do jogo memorialístico de um gênero discursivo, considerando que o sujeito assume um posicionamento enunciativo para narrar suas lembranças, suas interpretações do passado. Ela impõe ao narrador-personagem a ilusão de uma autonomia do ato de lembrar, de modo que o velho narrador ao invés de escrever suas memórias acaba sendo escrito por elas |
